Summary

Please note this is a 5 month contract until end of holiday season, December 2021

This role is responsible for facilitating entry-level and leadership role training to a high volume of employees (up to 60+ New Hires every week). They are expected to be experts in relevant subject matter and successfully train new hires to excel in their roles. They also facilitate ongoing development and system training and are expected to be able to be in the moment tech support with any system challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate role training
  • Manage new hire attendance
  • Run and support new hire live practice sessions
  • Act as in the moment tech support for online training classes
  • Troubleshoot tech issues and submit tickets
  • Facilitate learning check ins for new hires who have missed training content
  • Provide opportunity for practice, evaluation and testing to occur for learners
  • Provide insights and feedback on content to Learning Design Specialist

Support Activities

  • Supports Learning Design Specialist in creation of role training and ongoing Learning Content
  • Assists intake of projects and consulting on Guest Support initiatives that require learning
  • Update and edit existing training content as needed
  • Performs other duties and tasks as required

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience delivering training content to a large group of employees is an asset
  • Experience in a GEC Educator role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • High school diploma
