Job description

We’re MiQ, a programmatic media partner for marketers and agencies. We connect the right people, industry partnerships, and technology in a complete programmatic stack so we can solve precise business challenges.

As a key member of the Trading Team, you will be responsible for assisting the creation of MiQ advertising campaigns and help with setting up ad supply deals that allow us to execute our campaigns. You will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping how our programmatic advertising campaigns are built, as well as play a role in how we share results of our campaign execution with our clients.

This is a 12 months, paid, full-time co-op opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

Your main responsibilities will fall into three buckets:

Campaign Setup

  • Assist in the creation of Advertisers & Campaigns in all Demand Side Platforms
  • Create Insertion Orders and connect both the media execution and Salesforce bookings that they are built from
  • Discuss and develop campaign strategy with the internal planning teams to help your understanding of Programmatic advertising, whilst building the very strongest campaign setup for each campaign
  • Utilise pre-campaign data to construct data driven campaign setup
  • Create new tactics that are smart and automated

Campaign Maintenance

  • Goal Setting in Platform to get the very best from each campaign for the Traders you will work with, while sticking to Naming Conventions to aid Business Intel support
  • Create something called Pixels, that help traders track and monitor campaign performance
  • Ensure that our Traders are receiving up to date campaign information to make decisions on their campaigns
  • Assist Traders with Demand Side Platform reports, updating the traders on the latest campaign optimization needs

Ads Supply Creation

  • Set up deals in a Private Marketplace (PMP) to ensure that MiQ Canada has the latest ad supply in-market
  • Update Private Marketplace templates to ensure that MiQ Traders have an ease in onboarding new supply partnerships
  • PMP Troubleshooting: Learning about the mechanics behind the supply side connecting with MiQ Demand.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of academic experience in STEM, Business, Finance
  • Experience working in client-facing environment would be an advantage
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential
  • A start-up mind-set
  • Passionate about learning in an emerging field of advertising
  • Eager to work directly with clients
  • Technically and analytically astute
  • Strong troubleshooting ability, clear systematic approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and contribute within a team environment
  • Alignment with MiQ’s core values/culture
  • A ‘can do’ attitude to provide energy, drive, and enthusiasm
  • Strong Excel skills
