Job description

Four Seasons Corporate Office in Toronto has a fixed-term opportunity for an Online Retail Intern to join our Corporate Marketing team. This position will start as soon as possible for a 4-month internship.

The successful candidate will provide support for the Marketing and Ecommerce elements of the Online Retail platform (Shop.FourSeasons.com), helping to drive the overall retail business. Duties will include supporting media and creative development and deployment, coordination/project management of initiatives to support new product launches, conduct research on industry trends and consumer behaviour supporting geographic expansion, and support ad hoc strategic initiatives and presentations.

Key Projects:

Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct research on industry trends and consumer behaviour
  • Prepare and present competitive analysis
  • Support global expansion through preliminary research on potential markets and partners
  • Investigate opportunity for UGC content including competitive analysis, best-in-class examples and internal processes

Campaign Development/Deployment:

  • Support media strategies and seasonal campaign creative development
  • Contribute strategic feedback, coordinate review meetings and feedback to production partners
  • Coordination/project management of initiatives to support new product launches, including photoshoots and website reviews
  • Asset management – create repository and summary of all Online Retail assets and usage rights

Ad Hoc Support:

  • Development of presentations
  • Weekly/Monthly reporting of results
  • Coordination of samples for influencers
  • Invoice processing

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University or college degree or currently completing 3rd or 4th year in a related program
  • MBA an asset
  • Education in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, User Experience, or Operations
  • Previous experience in Marketing an asset
  • Strong communications/interpersonal skills
  • Project management capabilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong strategic/analytical mindset
  • Strong creative skills
  • Understanding of digital marketing ecosystems
  • Fluency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or Shopify Analytics an asset

All applicants must hold eligibility to work in Canada. Please note our offices are currently closed due to the pandemic and therefore this is a work from home position. The remote work location must be in the Greater Toronto Area.
