SNC-Lavalin

Job description

SNC-Lavalin believes that the success of its teams depends, among other things, on the diversity of their experience. Graduates are essential to the success of our projects.

Are you ready to be part of a respected team with a solid reputation in the engineering industry? The New Graduate Program is waiting for you!

  • You will be paired with a “buddy” to help you learn.
  • You will be supervised, supported and listened to.
  • You will integrate collaborative and innovative teams.
  • You will participate in projects that are all more interesting than the others.
  • You will be trained, and you will be able to develop yourself in a stimulating environment, supervised by experienced people.
  • You will be part of a learning community.
  • You will be able to participate in networking events

Application Process

By applying for this position, you will be considered for an opportunity in the Graduate Development Program. Please note that this is a multi-week recruitment process. Each application is carefully analyzed by a recruiter. Phone interviews will then be carried out with the candidates selected for the group, video interviews with a smaller number of candidates will follow. We will be able to confirm hires as soon as we obtain the confirmation of the number of positions available per group. Finally, new graduates will have the chance to integrate into their team before the start of the scheduled program in November of each year.

Why join our Nuclear group?

Be part of a team who makes it possible for generations to experience the benefits of nuclear. You will work with the latest technologies, creating cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions. Our unique approach is to deliver end-to-end project solutions and support for all types of reactor technologies. Supporting all stages of the asset lifecycle.

SNC-Lavalin is the original equipment (OEM) vendor and global steward of CANDU nuclear technology. We are also the world’s top provider of its maintenance and refurbishment expertise. How you will contribute?

As an E.I.T. within the Nuclear group, you will be involved in decommissioning/remediating sites and facilities; spent nuclear fuel management; transportation of nuclear material; revitalizing nuclear legacy sites project. Among other things, you will develop plan and schedule, coordinate engineering work, provide technical guidance and design solutions, prepare and review design documents, perform site visit and inspections, support engineering proposals, technical calculation, etc.
